The Comic Book Series Behind the Brand

Mullet Cop is written and drawn by Tom Lintern. Scout Comics published the first oversized issue in 2021. A mall cop survives a near death fight and goes undercover as a buffet manager. He works with coworkers and with M.I.T.T. to take down a crime boss. The series builds as a set of case files. Each story throws a new gang, monster, or robot at the mall. In 2022 the Flavor of Danger one shot added more mall politics and more assassins. The world kept growing and the tone stayed bright, weird, and funny.

A sincere love for the mall as a whole world. That charm is why the series moved toward animation and why we chose it for a game. The setting gives us shops to manage, corridors to defend, and endless room for new threats.
